Development
The family desired a home that would reflect their modern taste while ensuring that each member had their own distinct space. The challenge was to balance individual needs with a unifying design element that would bring cohesion to the overall layout. Mirrors played a key role in making the spaces feel larger and brighter, while the use of stone and glass created a sleek, contemporary ambiance. Wooden furniture added warmth, ensuring that the modern elements were balanced by comfort and livability.Design
The design incorporated mirror work throughout the duplex to visually expand the space and reflect light, giving the home a bright, open feel. Stone materials, such as marble and granite, were used in both flooring and accent walls to add a touch of luxury, while wooden furniture brought warmth and texture to the interiors. Metallic frames were introduced in furniture design, adding a modern touch to key pieces like coffee tables, dining chairs, and shelving units, giving them depth and a sense of elegance.Idea and Concept
The primary concept behind the design was to create an open, expansive feel in the duplex through the use of mirrors and glass elements, while ensuring each room had its own identity. Stone was chosen to introduce a luxurious and grounded element, contrasting with the lighter, more airy feel of the glass and mirrors. Wooden furniture was incorporated to soften the modern materials, ensuring a comfortable and inviting living environment. The metallic frames added a layer of sophistication and modernity, providing depth to the furniture and enhancing the overall aesthetic of the home.Project Details
